About the job

In the position of nurse, you are the mediator in making appointments and taking care of group meetings You treat and guide clients, observe the somatic and psychiatric sides and refer them to a doctor or psychiatrist when needed. You take care of consultations, take anamnesis, provide the necessary medications (methadone, medical heroin, etc), and give injections to clients. You also take part in the process of improving the overall quality of the clinic and improving the different way of treatments and working methods. 

Qualities:

• Nursing degree ” (BTEC Level 3), BSc level. from an EU/EEA country.
• EU/EEA nationality.
• Good English communication skills.
• Willingness to learn Dutch up to B1 level.
• Be available to work as a nurse, for a long period in the Netherlands.
• You are willing to work irregular duties; night duty, working on weekends and holidays
• You are communicative and you are interested in clients and their stories
• You also take initiative in making decisions and are able to plan and organize properly
• You are not afraid of potential conflicts and situations of crisis
• You have a positive attitude and you are solution-oriented while also keeping an eye to your surroundings

Do you have experience with psychiatry and/or (complex) addiction problems and do you know the corresponding treatment methods? Then you have quite an advantage in getting this job

About the job, conditions, and organization:

We are looking for nurses for a specialized detox/diagnostic clinic with multiple locations in the beautiful North Brabant Region. The organization has about 900 employees who help about 8,000 clients to recover each year

• You are going to work in a trusted, values-based, quality, and growth-oriented organization.
• Contract for two years with the possibility of an indefinite contract
• You will earn a good Salary between € 2.500 - € 3.400 gross per month, depending on your experience.

Start learning Dutch in 8 weeks with our Online program while you’re in your country for this job, you must be willing to learn Dutch. You will study together with a buddy accordingly to the course material, and your progress will be closely monitored by a certificated teacher. In this stage, it will be required from you only 2 hours a day, in your free time. This is a real investment in yourself and your new future. After completing the 8-week course, our teachers will have a good impression of your learnability. After obtaining the A1 Certificate, comes the following step: 4 weeks Online-Intensive program while you’re still in your country. After passing the A2 exam, you will be invited to the Netherlands, and follow our In-house intensive language training for the next 3 months, and after that, you will have the right Dutch language level to start with your new job as a nurse in the Netherlands!
