ABOUT THE HOSPITAL
The clinic is located at the University Hospital in the city and conducts specialized healthcare for respiratory diseases, both assessment and treatment. The catchment area is 460.000 inhabitants, and the region for which they conduct highly specialist care is 1,1 million. The clinic has 13 specialists and six residents.
ABOUT THE REGION
It is a city in southern Sweden, with around 105,000 inhabitants. It is well known for its cathedral. The city is the center of an old cultural region and celebrated its 700th anniversary in 1987.
The city is known for its university and its high-technology industry. It wants to create a sustainable development of the city and therefore plans to become a carbon-neutral community by 2025.
Main responsibilities and expectations
•The clinic has a unit for assessments where they conduct bronchoscopies, EBUS, and some pulmonologists themselves perform CT-guided punctures and drain insertions.
•The outpatient clinic has its X-ray. All pulmonary oncological treatment, except surgery and radiation therapy, is conducted at the clinic. Adult patients with cystic fibrosis are treated. Lung transplant patients in the region go for check-ups at the clinic and are treated in consultation with the transplant centre in Sweden.
•There is a general outpatient clinic for patients with COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, saccharoidosis and other lung conditions.
•Oxygen therapy and home ventilator therapy units are also available at the clinic. However, they do not treat asthma, but it is managed primarily via the "Allergy Centre", a special unit.
•Medical students come to the clinic for internships. There are also five physiotherapists, two counsellors and many experienced nurses at the clinic.
What’s expected of you
•Some or several years of experience as a specialist at a hospital.
•Good cooperation skills, ability and willingness to learn and develop within the profession.
•Since the hospital is a University hospital there should be an interest in teaching and tutoring medical students and residents.

Basic Requirements
*To be a specialist doctor/nurse/dentist with at least 2-3 years of experience and graduated from an EU university.
* To be an EU citizen or have an EU Long-term residence permit.
In case you are not an EU citizen:
* Your diploma has to be homologated in one of the EU countries.
* You need to have at least 2-3 years of experience in one of the EU countries after the title homologation.
* Long term residency from an EU country.
