On behalf of our clients, we are looking for: Cardiologist (F/M) - Permanent contract in France (Pyrénées Orientales area)

Our client is a leading healthcare group dedicated to personalized care for vulnerable individuals, supported by a multidisciplinary workforce of over 83,500 professionals. 

The group operates across retirement homes, rehabilitation and mental health clinics, and home care services, delivering tailored care pathways from prevention to rehabilitation. Its approach combines medical, psychological, and social support to ensure individualized and compassionate care for every patient. 

The position is at a Medical Care and Rehabilitation Clinic located in Pyrénées Orientales area (near Perpignan). The facility provides post-acute rehabilitation and functional recovery following acute-phase medical or surgical events. It specializes in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, as well as cardiovascular rehabilitation. 

Every day, our dedicated and highly skilled team ensures patients receive compassionate, respectful, and personalized care throughout their recovery. 

 

Role Summary

Under the supervision of the Medical Coordinator, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the smooth operation and management of your assigned unit.
  • Managing patient admissions based on their health status while guaranteeing maximum safety.
  • Designing and organizing cardiovascular rehabilitation programs in close collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Performing non-invasive technical procedures related to cardiovascular rehab (including stress ECGs, cardiopulmonary exercise testing/VO2 max, and echocardiography).
  • Preventing and diagnosing pathologies.
  • Guaranteeing high-quality patient care (therapeutic decisions, follow-up on prescriptions, patient file management) and ensuring continuity of care.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with best practices, institutional protocols, and procedures.
  • Driving the facility's medical project forward in coordination with the existing team.
  • Liaising with external correspondents (specialists, referring departments) and developing relationships within healthcare networks.
  • Providing empathetic communication and updates to patients, their families, and loved ones regarding the evolution of their health status.
  • Actively participating in the continuous quality improvement process.

 

Qualifications, pay & benefits

  • Holder of a State Diploma in Medicine, Specialist in Cardiology
  • Degree awarded in France or the European Union
  • B2 level of French (CEFR)
