We are recruiting dentists to join dental practices in the Netherlands, through a project that combines clinical practice with support throughout the transition to a new country.

A project designed for international dentists

We support international dentists throughout the entire preparation process for working in the Netherlands, from language training and the procedures required to practise professionally to relocation and adapting to a new working environment.

Our support continues after your arrival, helping you settle in and develop your career in the Netherlands.

Where you could work

Opportunities are available across the Netherlands, with more vacancies currently available in the north and south of the country, in more peripheral areas and in towns surrounding major cities. Geographical flexibility is therefore important in finding a placement that suits your profile.

What the opportunity offers

• Salary starting from €6,000 gross per month.
• Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
• Free Dutch language course, fully online, lasting six months.
• Support with preparing the required documentation and completing the professional registration process with the BIG Register.
• Support in finding accommodation.
• Ongoing support throughout the preparation, relocation and integration process.

Your clinical role

• Assess patients’ oral health and identify their treatment needs.
• Develop and explain individualised treatment plans.
• Provide dental treatments in accordance with your professional competencies and the practice’s clinical protocols.
• Promote preventive care and advise patients on oral health and hygiene.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure appropriate follow-up of treatments.
• Work closely with the dental team to ensure quality, safety and continuity of care.

The profile we are looking for

• Qualification in Dentistry recognised within the European Union.
• Minimum B1 level of English for the interview.
• Right to live and work in the Netherlands, as visa sponsorship is not provided.
• Availability to attend the Dutch language course and prepare for relocation.
• Interest in developing a long-term professional career in the Netherlands.
• Good communication skills, team spirit and a patient-centred approach.
