FAMILY MEDICINE SPECIALISTS for the Irish HSE out-of-hours health centres.
REQUIREMENTS:
Physicians with a Family Medicine specialization in the EU, with experience in paediatrics, psychiatry, children, and gynaecology. This position is open to physicians who have recently completed their specialization or are about to complete it, or physicians with 4-5 years of recent experience without a specialization working as family physicians in primary health centres in the EU.
Very high level of English equivalent to a B2 or C1 level.
EU citizen or holder of Stamp 4.
Registration with the IMC (Irish Medical Council). We can assist candidates with the registration if they haven't already begun the process. BHJ supports the entire process, from CV preparation to the start of the new role.

CONTRACT TYPE
- 1-year contract with ample opportunities for extension.

Location: Southeast of the Island.
SALARY:
Base salary: €10,000-€16,000/month.
Hourly rate: €80 (€120 for special days, such as Christmas and New Year's).
Weekly hours: Flexible schedule from 40-50 hours per week.
Estimated annual gross salary: €140,000-€200,000.
Estimated net salary: 65-70% of the total gross salary after taxes and operating costs (primarily professional liability insurance).
Hours:
This covers the time of the primary care centres which are closed in Ireland from 5:00 or 6:00 PM until 9:00 AM and weekend days, and all day on weekends and public holidays, in different shifts.
Typical shifts could be from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM (“evening shift”) or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (“weekend shift”), or occasionally, if deemed necessary, from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM (“red eye”), although these types of shifts can be minimized or even eliminated at the doctor's preference. In short, “red eye” shifts with this employer will be significantly fewer compared to other OOH employers in other areas/regions of Ireland, such as the Dublin area. Shifts will be arranged with them in advance to cover the assigned days, which will cover approximately three months of work.
