MediCarrera offers positions for a General Practitioners (Family Medicine Specialists) at primary care centers located in Mullsjö, Gislaved, and Skillingaryd, Region Jönköping, Sweden. Swedish healthcare is known for its high quality, inclusivity, and strict adherence to regulations, ensuring equal access to services for all residents.

We offer a free intensive Swedish online course, available for both you and your partner, with a €1,200 monthly scholarship.

Main Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Independently assess, diagnose, and treat patients in primary care.
• Provide preventive healthcare and lifestyle counseling.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions and refer to specialist care when needed.
• Conduct follow-ups and provide medical care in nursing homes and elderly care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, social services, and other authorities.
• Supervise and guide medical students and physicians in training.
• Participate in a structured introduction program to Swedish healthcare.

Requirements:

• Medical and specialist titles issued or recognized by the European Union.
• At least one year of experience as a specialist physician.
• Strong interest in teamwork, flexibility, and willingness to teach and mentor.
• Ability and willingness to complete the intensive Swedish language course online provided by MediCarrera.

Salary and Conditions:

• Average salary for a specialist doctor in Sweden: 80,000–110,000 SEK/month (7,000–9,600€) gross, duties paid separately.
• Salary is individually set according to years of specialist experience.
