Job Description

We are looking for a specialist doctor in Oncology to join the team in a municipal hospital located in central Sweden, at one hour and a half from Stockholm.

You will work in a modern healthcare organization with strong opportunities for professional development, including internal and external training. Your responsibilities will include care of a 15-bed ward approximately once every six weeks, daytime and evening on-call duties, supervision of resident doctors and participation in multidisciplinary meetings. 

Requirements

• Medical degree and specialist qualification in Oncology issued or recognized within the EU
• Good clinical experience as a specialist in Oncology
• Ability to work independently and participate in multidisciplinary teams
• Interest in teamwork and in contributing to the development of the clinic
• Willingness to complete the Swedish language training included in the MediCarrera program

Conditions

• Salary determined individually according to experience and qualifications
  Average specialist doctor salary in Sweden: approximately 80,000–110,000 SEK/month gross, with on-call duties paid separately
• Swedish studies from B2 to C1 combined with 50% clinical work in Region Gävleborg
• Daytime and evening on-call duties, plus an occasional weekend shift
