Job Description

The Nurse Manager is responsible for the 24/7 leadership and management of assigned clinical units. They ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient nursing care, support MODHS’ Magnet-based transformation, and collaborate with Nursing Administration to achieve strategic and operational goals. They lead staff, ensure regulatory compliance, support recruitment, and promote patient-centered care and staff development.

 
Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day nursing operations in assigned units with full 24/7 accountability.
Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care through expert clinical and managerial decisions.
Support nursing strategic plans through transformational leadership.
Promote Magnet principles: autonomy, shared governance, excellence, innovation.
Maintain organized, safe units that meet all regulatory standards.
Lead and support staffing, recruitment, onboarding, and competency evaluation.
Develop and empower staff, build strong teams, and support succession planning.
Manage resources efficiently and ensure cost-effective operations.
Support performance improvement projects and standardization of nursing practice.
Lead patient experience initiatives and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
 
Education Requirements

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Preferred:

Master’s Degree in Nursing or Health-related field

Also Required:

Evidence of ongoing professional development and leadership growth
 
Licensure Requirements

Valid home-country nursing license (for non-Saudi nationals)
SCFHS registration as Specialist or higher
 

5+ years progressive nursing experience
2+ years nursing leadership experience (e.g., Charge Nurse, Supervisor, Head Nurse)
Participation in or leadership of a performance improvement project
Preferred:

Accreditation experience (JCI, CBAHI)
Magnet Journey exposure
