Job Responsibilities:

•  Deliver person-centered nursing care to residents
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as per care plans
• Monitor residents’ health, well-being, and medical conditions
• Work collaboratively with healthcare assistants and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and nursing best practices
• Provide emotional support to residents and their families
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements:

• NMBI registration (or eligibility to register)
• Degree or Diploma in Nursing (General, Intellectual Disability, Psychiatric, or Elderly Care)
• Experience in elderly care or a nursing home setting (preferred but not essential)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
