Would you like a role with broad clinical exposure within both obstetrics and gynecology while gaining experience in an English-speaking healthcare system?
On behalf of university hospitals and established specialist environments in Ireland, we are recruiting OBGYN consultant for 12 or 24-month positions, with the possibility of extension.
This opportunity is well suited for specialists who would like to work broadly across both obstetrics and gynecology while gaining experience from modern hospital environments with high clinical activity and close multidisciplinary collaboration.
We are particularly interested in candidates with strong experience in general obstetrics and gynecology as well as broad surgical competence within gynecological procedures. For several of the positions, a minimum of three years of experience at consultant level is preferred.
Please note that you must hold medical authorisation and specialist certification from an EU/EEA country to be eligible for these roles.
About the position
As an OBGYN consultant, you will work with the assessment, treatment and follow-up of patients within both obstetrics and gynecology. The role combines outpatient care, surgical activity, inpatient management and assessment of acute presentations.
The positions involve close collaboration with midwives, anesthesiology staff, nurses and other medical specialties. Several of the hospitals are university-affiliated and have active specialist environments within research, teaching and clinical development.

Base salary depending on experience, typically around €233,000–€280,000 gross per year.
