About the Position

You will have the opportunity to work in a highly professional environment, participate in multidisciplinary care for patients with complex needs, and contribute innovative solutions that advance orthotic and prosthetic services.
As an orthotist/prosthetist, you will:
Provide direct clinical care to patients. 
Work closely with the department's teams of technicians. 
Primarily work at the outpatient clinic on Falkenbergsgatan 3. 
Occasionally work at one of Gothenburg's three hospitals. 
Collaborate closely with habilitation (rehabilitation) centers throughout the Gothenburg area. 
Research, innovation, and development are integral parts of the role, supporting Sahlgrenska University Hospital's overall ambition to remain a leading university hospital and create greater value for patients.
There are opportunities to apply for research and development funding through both the hospital and the Västra Götaland Region. The department encourages employees who are motivated to combine clinical practice with research and development

About You

You are a licensed orthotist/prosthetist (orthopedic engineer) and have completed an orthotics/prosthetics degree. 
You have experience working with patients who require orthopedic assistive devices. Previous experience with prosthetic and/or orthotic care is considered an advantage.
