Practical Nurses (Verzorgende IG) Wanted – Zorglandgoed Bloemfonteijn
Job Description

Looking for a care job that’s truly different? A place where your passion for care can fully flourish in a lively and meaningful environment? Zorglandgoed Bloemfonteijn is looking for 5 Practical Nurses (Verzorgenden IG).

Bloemfonteijn is a unique, small-scale care organization located in the villages of Varik and Heesselt, in the heart of Betuwe along the Waal river. On a beautiful 10-hectare care estate, they provide care to children and adults, often with multiple disabilities. The surroundings are rich in nature and include a petting zoo, horseback riding, a private swimming pool, and plenty of space for outdoor activities. The atmosphere on the estate is informal, with short communication lines, quick decision-making, and a close-knit team. Working at Bloemfonteijn means making a real difference together with dedicated colleagues who provide the best care with love and professionalism.

What makes this role special? Taking a dive in the pool with a resident after morning care? Or maybe a learning moment, snoezelen, going for a walk, or horseback riding? It’s all possible. Tasks are varied, from nursing procedures to guiding residents in meaningful activities. There’s plenty of room for your input and expertise. Bloemfonteijn offers a challenging work environment where residents are truly at the center. With a unique planning system, you can set your own schedule, working days, and shifts. The position combines medical tasks with daily activities for residents. In the small team, you actively contribute to care and support. You’ll receive a permanent employment contract right away. We are looking for candidates with a completed MBO diploma as Verzorgende IG (level 3) or an equivalent foreign diploma recognized by CIBG. A good command of Dutch at minimum level B1 (2F) and a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG — costs reimbursed) are required. You are flexible and available for short, long, and occasional night shifts. Experience in healthcare and affinity with people with multiple disabilities are strong advantages.

Did you obtain your diploma abroad or not yet speak Dutch? No problem — you can still apply through the Avant Talent Group website to first take part in an intensive language training program. Speaking proper Dutch is essential for working in healthcare, as you’ll be in daily contact with residents, colleagues, and family members. Of course, you're also welcome to learn the language on your own, as long as you're committed to achieving the required level.
