Job Responsibilities:

• Provide expert preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to patients.
• Assist surgeons and anesthetists during procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field in the operating theatre.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and ready for use.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and well-being throughout procedures.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with HIQA standards

Requirements:

• NMBI registration (or eligibility to register)
• Degree or Diploma in Nursing (with experience in theatre nursing preferred)
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic techniques, and infection control
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
