Job Description

We are looking for an intensive care nurse to work at Torsby Hospital in Region Värmland, Sweden.

Main responsibilities and expectations
As an intensive care nurse, you will work with advanced care of patients with a wide range of diagnoses and with threatened or confirmed failure of vital functions.
You will monitor and assess the patient’s condition and, together with the other professions in the team, be responsible for acting quickly in the event of changes.
The work is varied and requires both independence and close collaboration.
Intensive care nurses, nurses and assistant nurses work in close collaboration with doctors.
As a new employee, you will receive an individually tailored introduction based on your experience, skills and needs.

What’s expected of you
Registered nurse with three years of work experience in full- time work in intensive care.
To be confident and responsible and have the ability to work both independently and together with others.
To take initiative, communicate clearly and be able to act based on your professional judgement even when the situation changes rapidly.
Flexibility, the ability to collaborate and a strong quality consciousness.
To be curious and development-oriented and want to contribute to developing the business together with the team.
