Main responsibilities and expectations

• The patients seek abstinence, addiction, and treatment for different psychiatric diagnoses such as psychosis, depression, anxiety, manic episodes, etc. The team is characterized by good cooperation and a welcoming work environment where everybody should feel they can contribute with their thoughts and opinions.
• The hospital offers new co-workers interesting workshops and an introduction to addiction care and psychiatry. There are good opportunities for development and continuous studies. You will continuously be offered training in self-protection, both practical and theoretical education, lectures about relevant subjects related to addiction psychiatry such as interactive treatment, conversational methodology, addiction theory, etc.
• You will work in a team together with other co-workers where everybody contributes with their competence. You will also have a leading work role in the daily tasks at the clinic, where you will lead and delegate the work and follow-ups.
• There is a close collaboration between inpatient care, outpatient care social services, and municipalities. The job is varied and stimulating but also with periods with a high tempo and fast changes.

What’s expected of you

• To be collaborative, team player, flexible.
•  Specialist nurse in psychiatry or general nurse with experience working with psychiatry or addiction psychiatry.

Salary and Conditions

• Work hours: day, evening, weekend, no night shifts.
• The salary for a newly graduated nurse is 26.000 SEK + 1500-3000 SEK for evening and weekends/month. Individual salary according to experience.
• Pension savings and insurances for sickness, accidents, or death.
