Job Description

We are looking for two radiographers to join the team at Söderhamn Hospital in Region Gävleborg, Sweden.

As a Radiographer in Söderhamn, you will work in a small, modern X-ray clinic located at Söderhamn Hospital, performing both planned and emergency examinations. You will be part of a closeknit team alongside radiologists, assistant nurses and sonographers.

Main responsibilities and expectations

Your duties will mainly include skeletal radiography and CT examinations, using modern equipment such as a Canon CT scanner and a Samsung skeletal X-ray system. The clinic also offers ultrasound examinations.

You will collaborate closely with inpatient care, primary care and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. The position offers excellent work-life balance, with daytime working hours Monday to Friday, no evenings, weekends or public holidays.

What’s expected of you

To hold a License as a technician in radiology/radiographer within the EU.

No clinical experience is strictly required since the radiographer will undergo an introduction period of about 3–6 months depending on prior experience. The aim of the introduction is to learn the equipment, routines, methods, and working practices at Radiology Gävle.

Clinical experience in MRI is desirable.

Clinical experience towards CT and Skeleton Lab is seen as an advantage.

To complete the intensive Swedish language course, which is part of the MediCarrera program.
